Is this an official Desert Bus for Hope game?
No. This is an unofficial browser tribute and awareness surface. Official donation and event activity happens on the external Desert Bus for Hope and Childs Play sites.
Does the canonical run really take eight hours?
Yes. Canonical mode uses 360 miles at 45 mph, which is 8 hours of real elapsed driving time.
Can I pause?
Canonical play has no pause button. Accessibility or test modes must be clearly labeled and do not represent an eight-hour canonical completion.
Where is the leaderboard stored?
Phase 1 leaderboard and run history are browser-local. Server/global leaderboard persistence is future protected work and is not faked.
Does this site collect donations?
No. Donation links send you to official external organizations. This site does not process, proxy, or track donations.
